fall lipstick.

Deep red lipstick is in this fall.  I love it!  It looks good with most hair colors and it can really pop against paler skin in the fall and winter.

I LOVE this look on FreePeople's blog. It's so 90's (in a good way) but 2012 at the same time.

 

Or try a more toned down look for work or if you need to ease yourself into it....

 One little problem:  I've found that unless you have very full lips, dark colors can make your lips look even thinner (Sorry, Jennifer).  








So if you do have thinner lips, apply a gloss or use a moisturizing lipstick to reflect light and make lips appear fuller (As Whitney did here..).  Sweet.
